Help carry and load boats off trailers onto racks after transport from the regatta venue. >This includes lifting boats onto racks or the beach, carrying them from trailers, unsecuring them after transport, and unloading on arrival. >You may also assist with loading oars, riggers, and other equipment. You'll work as part of an amazing and fun team!

Arrive at the scheduled unloading time — punctuality is critical as we are on a tight schedule. >Wear closed-toe shoes with good grip, sun protection, and clothing you're comfortable lifting in. >Must be physically able to lift and carry large, awkward items — coastal rowing boats are heavy and bulky. >No rowing or boating experience necessary, but you'll follow instructions carefully as boats damage easily.

Always lift with your legs and coordinate with your team — never try to lift or move a boat on your own. >Communicate clearly during carries using agreed commands (e.g. "up," "ready," "walk"). >Watch your footing on sand, ramps, and wet surfaces. >Be aware of wind gusts — boats act as sails when carried and can become uncontrollable in strong wind. >Keep fingers clear of trailer racks and tie-down points when securing boats. >Stay alert to vehicle movements around the loading area.
